A lot of living rooms have the same problem - a TV sitting on a generic stand, cables running everywhere, and no real storage to speak of. It works, but it never quite looks finished. That's exactly the kind of situation a custom built-in solves.

What we built here was designed specifically for this room. The angled ceiling line on the upper left side is a great example of what sets a true built-in apart from anything you'd buy off a shelf. We worked right up to that roofline instead of cutting the unit short or leaving an awkward gap. The result is a piece that looks like it was always part of the home.

The lower cabinet section with paneled doors gives the homeowner real, closed storage - gear, remotes, extra cables, whatever needs to stay out of sight. The open shelf section above the TV adds display space without making the wall feel too heavy. Everything was painted to match the room's existing trim, so it blends in rather than stands out.

That's really the goal with a built-in. It shouldn't look like something that was added. It should look like it belongs. When the proportions are right and the finish work is clean, that's exactly what you get.

We build pieces like this to fit the specific dimensions, ceiling angles, and style of the home - not the other way around. If you've got a wall that's been begging for this kind of treatment, we'd love to help figure out what's possible.
